One can directly apply for the selection to a particular post when the choice to post is notified by the Kerala PSC through the Kerala Gazette or in the PSC Bulletin, Newspapers, Thozilveedhi, ThozhilVartha etc. The applicant in the said selection is valid only if it satisfies all the eligibility criteria specified for the post.

The Ranked Lists published by the Kerala PSC remain in force for one year from the date on which it brought into power. 10. How are the Ranks of candidates in a selection assigned while preparing the Kerala PSC Ranked List concerned?
The Ranks are assigned based on the descending order of total marks obtained in the Kerala PSC TEST and Kerala PSC interview by each candidate. If more than one candidate secures similar mark, then the respective Rank position of such candidates is assigned in the descending order of their age. If the period is also the same, then their names are arranged in the Kerala PSC Ranked List alphabetically.
